GLOW Academy
What is GLOW Academy?
GLOW Academy is GLOW's international academic platform, created in Eindhoven and developed in Mexico as a program that connects students, universities, artists, and professionals from art, design, architecture, and technology.
Its goal is to nurture emerging talent through learning experiences linked to real projects within an international light festival. Through mentorship, research processes, and curatorial guidance, participants develop proposals that reinterpret public space and heritage from a contemporary perspective.
At GLOW México, the program adapts to the cultural and urban context of Puebla, strengthening the collaboration between academia and the creative community to shape a new generation of artists and creators specialized in light interventions.
As part of this process, GLOW Lab emerges — the creative laboratory where the ideas developed in GLOW Academy evolve into installations that become part of the festival's official route.
